Charles A. Russell, Jr., CGR, CAPS
President
|
Charlie can best be described as having a competitive spirit. His winning determination was revealed in his teens when he became a race horse jockey. He loved the profession and excelled at it…that is until he grew too “big”. It was time to redirect his ambitions.
Charlie was then hired to work on a new home construction site; it was there he discovered his new found talent. Although he liked working new construction, his real passion was in remodeling and working directly and closely with homeowners.
In 1974, Charlie started Westhill, as a small two-man General Contractor, taking on spec housing construction to survive, but shortly moved to remodeling. At that time, he had no idea Westhill would evolve into an award-winning industry leader, employing 40+ employees, architects and designers. Uniquely improving the homes and lifestyles of our clients one by one; and building Westhill and its reputation for providing top rated customer service, has been a fulfilling career for Charlie.
As President, Charlie’s responsibilities include leading our Executive Team, spearheading strategic management and directing the corporate culture and company vision.

Tim Russell, CGR, CAPS
Sales Manager
|
From age 13, Tim worked summers for his brother Chuck, in the construction business. Tim gained hands-on construction experience for the next six years, rising through the ranks from laborer to carpenter apprentice. After developing the needed skills and confidence in the construction trade, Tim ventured to Oregon to start his own company, Tim Russell Remodeling. For five years Tim did residential remodeling and light commercial work. When a friend asked him to do framing job in Alaska, he took the challenge. Much to Tim's surprise, he found a love for Alaska. For the next 20 years Tim successfully owned Rock-N-Roll Construction, specializing in building Alaska Craftsman Energy Efficient Homes.
As Westhill grew, the need for a Sales Manager was evident. We didn't have to look far. With Tim's experience, he was the perfect choice. As leader of our sales team, Tim is personally included in virtually every aspect of a project from design through completion. Tim uses his expertise to guide homeowners through their home improvements with ease.
