STAR 101.5 Home and Away Contest - Grand Prize Winner!
Joan Fath of Grahm had tears of joy when her key opened the door making her the Grand Prize winner in the STAR 101.5 Home & Away contest. Joan, husband Ray and son Cody will be enjoying a seven day Hawaiian vacation while Westhill serves as the General Contractor for their home makeover.
This deserving family is very involved in the UPPC church in
Tacoma
and mission work in
Mexico
,
California
,
Washington
and mainly
Mississippi
. They also volunteer with Habitat for Humanity and Junior Achievement. Ray is a General Contractor, a one man band and not in the best of health. His days are filled doing things for others, often at no cost and at his own expense. He works so hard for others and doesn’t have the time, energy or means for his own remodeling needs.
Westhill with the help of Wood Monsters, GE, Daly’s, Bassett Furniture, Rodda Paint and many other sponsors, will transform their home the week of August 25. Listen to STAR 101.5 and watch KOMO 4 News for the big reveal taking place on Friday August. 29th.
Westhill Inc. Design/Build has a commitment to customer satisfaction that runs deep. It is the foundation upon Westhill was built. In an effort to consistently improve as we grow, we hosted a Customer Focus Group luncheon, bringing in a marketing expert to facilitate the meeting. By having a candid conversation with a group of our customers, they revealed what we do well, made suggestions to help us improve, as well as things items they would like us to consider implementing.
The information we compiled was not only enlightening, but fun as well. What a treat it was to spend time with some of our long time customers as well as some of our newer ones all in one setting! We are very grateful to all of our participants.
The Customer Focus Group is something we will be doing from time to time. If you are interested in joining us, please let us know!
Westhill has started an annual tradition to honor our customers by holding a Customer Appreciation Open House. Although November 16, 2007 was a dreary, dark, rainy night, as the honorees entered our office, the atmosphere was one of bright lights, wall to wall customers and employees, delicious food and beverages and tons of laughter.
We reveled in catching up with well over 250 of the 700 plus homeowners whom we have had the privilege of working with over the last 34 years. It was exciting to have even our first two customers located on the West Hill of Bothell attend the celebration.
After giving away raffle prizes throughout the night, the grand prize went to Jerry & Yuka Nakata. Yuka, who is a fabulous chef; will put the Calphalon cookware to good use in their beautiful new kitchen.
Those of you that were unable to attend, you were greatly missed. But never fear; we will hold another Customer Appreciation Open House in November to thank you. You won’t want to miss it!
That’s our Sales Manager,
Tim Russell
, arrested and handcuffed, all for a great cause. The Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA’s Woodinville Lockup) captured Tim and put him under house arrest. He was jailed at the Chateau Ste. Michele winery, until his bail of $2,000.00 was met!
The MDA serves people in our community with neuromuscular disease by providing clinics, support groups, assistance with the purchase and repair of wheelchairs, braces, communication devices and summer camp for kids. MDA also funds research grants to find treatments and cures for some 43 neuromuscular diseases that affect people of all ages.
It was fun participating in the donation, and we are happy to have Tim back “home” with us. Thanks to all of you who donated to Jerry’s Kids.
If you are interested in additional information regarding MDA or wish to make a donation, visit their website at: www.mda.org.
